What You'll Be Doing
We’re looking for a high-potential junior auditor to join our Internal Audit and Control team at Prenetics. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in internal control or risk assurance at a Big 4 firm who is ready to move in-house,. You’ll help shape our internal control structure, preparing the Group for full SOX compliance, and supporting the implementation of our new ERP system in 2026. The role reports to the Audit Committee, with a dotted line to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of SOX 404 readiness program,, including a test run in FY2026 and full compliance from FY2027..
- Assist in evaluating and testing internal controls across our Hong Kong and overseas operations.
- Help document business processes, identify control gaps, and recommend practical improvements.
- Coordinate and support internal audits, risk assessments, and walkthroughs with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and update of internal policies and procedures.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Business Unit teams to ensure alignment with internal control objectives.
- Partner with the ERP project team to design and embed effective controls into the new system.
- Stay current with global audit standards and control best practices.
- Provide support for ad hoc projects and internal audit assignments.
- Report on internal control activities directly to the Audit Committee.
- Own the design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and monitoring of the group’s internal control framework.
- Lead the process for internal controls reviews across the group.
- Deliver timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies to business partners, senior leadership, and the audit committee, track action plans with business and process owners until resolutionDevelop and monitor action plans to address and resolve control deficiencies.
- Work collaboratively with business and process owners to implement and monitor remediation efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4–6 years of experience in external audit, risk assurance, or a similar internal control position, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- Exposure to SOX/internal control environments, ideally with clients in, or working directly at listed or multinational companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Qualified ACA and/or CPAqualified is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to translate theory into practical solutions.
- Good command of written and spoken English is essential, Chinese proficiency is a plus.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
