Quality Control & Operations Lead
M8 Health is a next-generation health and wellness brand co-founded by David Beckham. Backed by science and built for scale, IM8 is redefining daily wellness through high-quality, performance-driven products that meet the highest standards of formulation, manufacturing, and customer experience. As part of the Prenetics Group, we operate globally with teams across the US and Asia, moving fast while maintaining rigorous operational and quality standards.
This role is critical to ensuring that what we promise customers is delivered flawlessly — every kit, every shipment, every time.
Role Overview
The Quality Control & Operations Lead owns end-to-end fulfillment execution and quality control across IM8’s kitting, manufacturing coordination, and 3PL operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in complex logistics environments, is deeply detail-oriented, and can scale systems, SOPs, and partners while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
You will serve as the operational backbone between manufacturers, 3PL partners, Customer Success, and internal leadership — ensuring accuracy, speed, and consistency as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Kitting & Fulfillment Operations
Own the full kitting, pick-and-pack, and order fulfillment lifecycle across multiple SKUs and regions.
Oversee workflows from component receipt through final shipment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and inventory integrity.
Design and maintain structured workflows and controls to minimize errors and maximize operational efficiency.
Manufacturing & Supply Coordination
Work directly with manufacturing partners to ensure products meet IM8’s quality, compliance, and specification standards.
Track and follow up on production schedules, specifications, and deliverables.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with manufacturing partners to improve quality, consistency, and throughput.
Partner closely with Customer Success to manage replacements, exceptions, and post-delivery issue resolution.
3PL Management & SOP Ownership
Serve as the primary owner of 3PL performance across kitting, fulfillment, returns, and outbound shipping.
Develop, document, and enforce detailed SOPs covering all logistics workflows, including returns and exception handling.
Train and onboard 3PL partners to IM8 operational standards; create clear training materials and playbooks.
Monitor adherence to SOPs and hold partners accountable to SLAs and quality benchmarks.
Quality Control & Assurance
Design and execute inbound and outbound quality control protocols across manufacturing, kitting, and fulfillment.
Identify defects, inconsistencies, or process breakdowns quickly and decisively.
Lead root cause analysis and implement preventative, long-term solutions rather than short-term fixes.
Ensure only top-quality products reach customers, protecting brand trust and customer satisfaction.
Process Improvement & AI Enablement
Continuously identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies across logistics workflows.
Apply Lean principles and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, inventory accuracy, reporting, and decision-making.
Partner with internal stakeholders to test and scale automation and AI-driven operational enhancements.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication
Act as the key operational liaison between on-site teams, overseas partners, and executive leadership.
Provide clear daily and weekly reporting on fulfillment accuracy, inventory health, 3PL performance, and exceptions.
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Customer Success, and Asia-based teams across time zones.
Travel up to 50 percent to support cross-regional operations, audits, and partner site visits.
Data, Reporting & Accountability
Build and maintain robust reporting dashboards covering order accuracy, turnaround times, returns, and defect rates.
Use data to surface risks early, drive prioritization, and inform leadership decisions.
Ensure 3PL reporting is consistent, transparent, and aligned with internal metrics.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven end-to-end ownership of kitting, pick-and-pack, and fulfillment operations.
Deep experience managing full logistics cycles across manufacturers, 3PLs, and customer-facing teams.
Hands-on experience training 3PL partners and enforcing SOPs across inventory, shipping, and returns.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent ERP / inventory management systems.
Demonstrated ability to use operational data and reporting to drive performance and accountability.
Familiarity with AI or automation tools applied to logistics, inventory, or operations workflows.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
Willingness to travel up to 50 percent.
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training.
Experience scaling operations in high-growth DTC, consumer health, or regulated product environments.
