Junior Designer - IM8
IM8 is a next-generation health and longevity brand co-founded by David Beckham and Prenetics (NASDAQ: PRE), on a mission to make world-class nutritional science accessible to everyone. Launched in late 2024, IM8 grew Q1 2026 revenue nearly 6x year-over-year to $33.8M, and the company has raised full-year 2026 IM8 revenue guidance to $190M–$210M. Over 60% of revenue is generated outside the US. We ship to 43 countries, and our athlete partner roster includes David Beckham, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Aryna Sabalenka, Ollie Bearman, and Inter Miami CF.
We are built on science, not story — our flagship Daily Ultimate Essentials carries 90 active ingredients, we run randomized controlled trials on our products, and we hold a clinical-grade standard in a category notorious for shortcuts.
Our business is subscription at its core. Every basis point of NRR we add compounds — into LTV, into payback, into the ability to outspend everyone else on acquisition. Retention isn't a department at IM8. It is the model.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Brand & Creative Execution
• Produce on-brand design assets across multiple formats — social posts, paid ad creative, landing pages, packaging mockups, email graphics, decks, internal collateral
• Adapt master design systems consistently across IM8's full asset library, ensuring every touchpoint feels like the same brand
• Iterate on senior designers' work — taking direction, applying brand standards, and shipping polished output fast
2. Performance Creative Support
• Build a high volume of paid social ad variants for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels — different hooks, talents, formats, lengths
• Work with the performance marketing team to brief, build, and iterate based on channel data
• Quickly turn winning concepts into compounded variants that keep performance creative fresh
3. Social & Content Design
• Design Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X-native content that holds up to IM8's premium aesthetic standard
• Adapt creative across platforms with awareness of each platform's visual conventions
• Support social content calendar production at IM8's posting cadence
4. AI-Powered Production
• Use AI tools daily — Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Claude, GPT, and the next thing — to multiply your output without sacrificing quality
• Build personal libraries, prompt templates, and AI workflows that compound across projects
• Stay current on emerging AI design tools and bring new ones into the team's workflow
5. Collaboration
• Partner with the wider marketing, brand, and ecommerce teams on creative briefs and project handoffs
• Take direction well, give honest feedback, and treat ship dates as commitments
• Document your work so others can build on it
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Non-Negotiable
• 1–3 years of design experience at a brand, agency, or in-house creative team — bonus if it's in DTC, beauty, wellness, fashion, or premium lifestyle
• Strong fundamentals: typography, layout, hierarchy, color, white space. Your work doesn't need to be loud — it needs to be right
• Fluency across the standard toolkit: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma
• AI-native. Not curious, not aware. You already use AI tools daily in your design workflow and can show the output
• A portfolio that demonstrates premium brand craft — not just "designs you've made" but design that solves a problem and ships
• Eligible to work in Hong Kong. Based in or willing to relocate to HK
• Builder's mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, shipping at speed, and improving the work each cycle
Nice to Have
• Motion design experience (After Effects, CapCut, Runway)
• Packaging or print production experience
• Experience working with athlete or celebrity creative
• Background in supplements, beauty, or regulated consumer categories
• Experience in DTC commerce design (landing pages, product pages, email funnels)
